Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking Cleaner to join our team at a busy medical centre. You will work as part of a two-person cleaning team to ensure the premises are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and safety at all times.
As this is a healthcare setting, attention to detail and adherence to strict cleaning procedures is essential to support infection control and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out daily cleaning of designated areas within the medical centre.
- Clean and sanitise clinical and non-clinical areas including waiting rooms, corridors, offices, and staff areas.
- Clean and disinfect toilets, washrooms, sinks, and touchpoints.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors as required.
- Empty bins and replace liners, ensuring correct waste segregation.
- Replenish consumables such as soap, toilet rolls, and paper towels.
- Clean surfaces, furniture, doors, glass, and fixtures to a high standard.
- Follow cleaning schedules and site instructions provided by supervisors.
- Use cleaning materials and equipment safely and in line with COSHH regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues, hazards, or stock shortages to the supervisor.
- Work collaboratively as part of a two-person team to ensure all duties are completed efficiently within allocated time.
